Welcome!
I did these just for fun using a Perl script that reads a page's code,
changes the body and font tag settings and then returns the page to the
viewer. The beauty of this is I don't have to update several pages, only
the ones on the main site, which are then translated to these alternates.
For viewing these, I advise maximizing your browser window to full screen.
The pages will be best viewed at screen resolutions higher than 800x600. You
will also need to install some fonts. To do this, download the following by
right clicking the link and saving it somewhere on your hard drive:
Star Trek and Klingon fonts
First, unzip the file (www.winzip.com for a unzipper if you need one).
Now, go to your 'Start' button, choose 'Settings' and then 'Control Panel'.
Then, double-click the 'Fonts' icon. This will list out all your fonts.
Under the 'File' menu should be an option to 'Install Fonts'. Choose that
and then find the files you downloaded and unzipped to install.
